Many of you know already that we are introducing music evenings at Emporio Sao Paulo – well, at last we are ready to go!

Next week, Thursday 27th October at 8pm, will be our launch event for a regular programme of Latin American music.

Performing for us will be Gustavo Marques, a Brazilian singer and guitarist who, in the past 10 years, has built a strong following throughout London. Gustavo has played at many of the top London venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, as well as being a regular contributor to events at the Brazilian Embassy. Gustavo will play two sets of great Brazilian music, including bossa nova and classics by Tom Jobim, Caetano Veloso and many others.

To celebrate this new venture, every guest will receive a free drink and canapes on arrival, and for this special evening all drinks and meals will be half price!

Starting October 27th, Emporio Sao Paulo becomes London’s newest venue for Latin American Music. Four nights each week we will offer a programme of Bossa Nova, Tango and Cuban Jazz, played by musicians from Brazil, Argentina and Cuba, accompanied by a cocktail bar offering Brazilian Caiprinhas and an evening menu of Brazilian specialties.

Interest in South American culture is growing,  driven by the forthcoming World Cup in Brazil and the growth of Brazil as a major economic power. Live music, in a relaxing jazz bar style environment, is a perfect complement and is expected to appeal equally to English music lovers and South Americans living in the UK.

We have a very flexible private function room located on the basement level where both kids can play all day and adults can celebrate all night.

During the day our basement level turns to a kids playground area where moms can enjoy a cup of coffee whilst kids play. But it is also a function room, an ideal place to promote an event with a touch of Brazilian gusto!

Calling all Cook lovers! The delicious frozen meals the Daily Telegraph says “look and taste like they have been home cooked with love and flair”, are available at Empório São Paulo.
